If you’re not from Chicago, it’s impossible to understand how passionate we are about our sports teams. Unbelievably dedicated as fans and absolutely damning as critics, Chicago fans aren’t ones to cheer for the hottest new team. Team preference is something that’s inherited, like religion. So let’s have a little fun today :::
That brings us to the question: who are the top 10 Chicago Bulls players of All Time? The Bulls have been particularly blessed with astounding players and championship dynasties, but fanatics still jostle around the key when it comes to nailing down the top ten. Here’s what we think:
#10 Dennis Rodman (1995-1998)
Often remembered more as a primadonna bad boy. Despite his over-the-top fashion sense and off-the-court antics, he never let any of it interfere with his performance. One of the greatest NBA rebounders in history, he helped pull down three Chicago titles.
#9 Tom Boerwinkle (1968-1978)
This 7 foot tall center is second only to Michael Jordan on the Bulls all-time rebound list, and he holds the record for the most rebounds in a game: 37 in 1970 against the Phoenix Suns.
#8 Derrick Rose (2008-2016)
Though plagued throughout his career with injuries, Derrick Rose has some undeniable accomplishments. An NBA All-Rookie First Team pick and he was named the NBA Most Valuable Player in 2011, he s shown unbelievable dedication–just like his fans.

#7 BJ Armstrong (1989-1995, 1999-2000)
Always one to step-up when necessary, BJ Armstrong help to lead the Bulls in 1994 after Jordan’s abrupt retirement and was there to help the Bulls win three consecutive NBA titles.
#6 Norm Van Lier (1971-1978)
With a slew of NBA achievements, “Stormin’ Norman” is the third all-time leader in assists and steals for the Bulls, trailing only behind Michael Jordan and Scottie Pippen.
#5 Toni Kukoc (1993-2000)
Winner of the NBA Sixth Man of the Year Award in 1996, Toni Kukoc became the leading scorer in 1998-99 after Jordan’s final retirement.
#4 Bob Love (1968-1976)
The team’s third all-time scorer with 12,623 career points and three All-Star appearances–need we say more about Bob Love?
#3 Jerry Sloan (1966-1976)
Named to two All-Star Teams, and four All-Defensive First Teams, Jerry Sloan was a solid defensive guard for the Bulls, so much so that his #4 was the first to be retired by the Bulls.
#2 Scotty Pippen (1987-1998, 2003-2004)
Selected to 10 All-Defensive Teams and a seven-time All-Star forward, Pippen is considered the one of the greatest perimeter defenders to ever grace the boards.
#1 Michael Jordan (1984-1993, 1995-1998)
With five regular season MVP awards, a Defensive Player of the Year Award, six MVP finals, named to the All-Star team twelve times and named to the All-NBA First Team 10 times, there is no doubt that Michael Jordan has changed the game of basketball forever. Enough said.
