The traditional candle-lit dinner with chocolates, flowers and stuffed animals is cute and all– but elevate your Valentines Day this year. Don’t celebrate the same way adolescents are. Turn up the heat.
Snag your significant other, your best friends or even go alone to see where the night leads.
Some even require you to finally meet up with the new Tinder match that buzzed across your screen. Awe, love at swipe right.
(Don’t worry, there are drink specials at all locations as well.)
Naughty Little Cabaret at The Original Mother’s
26 West Division Street, Chicago, IL 60610
The male dancers of the Naughty Little Cabaret will be taking over for Valentines Day. Snag your girliefriends, get freshly buzzed and see who can stare the longest without blinking.
Shows begin at 6p.m., 8p.m. and 10p.m. Tickets, which are $30 for general admission with reserved seating or $40 with VIP seating in the first three rows– may be purchased in advance here or at the door, if available.
Burlesque at Bootleggers
13 West Division Street, Chicago, IL 60610
While the guys take over Mother’s, the ladies of the Naughty Little Cabaret will be taking over Bootleggers just down the street. This is where bromance can be had over beer and food. Of course, the ladies are more than welcome to come for the show as well. This peepshow is from 8p.m. to 11p.m. Best of all, it’s free!
Pole Dancing at She-nannigans
16 West Division Street, Chicago, IL 60610
If you aren’t one to just sit around and watch, this is where you’ll end up on Valentines Day. While the women and the men of Naughty Little Cabaret take over the stages up the street for shows– the choreographers will be bestowing their knowledge upon you. This is a sure fire way to heat things up.
The dancing goes from 8p.m. to 10p.m. This 2-hour lesson is free of charge.
ValenTINDER Party at The Stretch
3485 North Clark Street, Chicago, IL 60657
This one may take a little bit of preparation. Pull out your phone, open up your Tinder, start swiping right and invite your best match to join you for some drink specials. You can invite multiple matches if you are looking for drama, but I advise against that. This is the celebration of being single– but having that potential to find true love with every swipe… or something like that.
Headquarters Beercade ValenTINDER Extravaganza
2833 North Sheffield Avenue, Chicago, IL 60657
If you are expecting your Tinder match to be a gamer, then look no further. From 9 to 11 p.m. patrons who show their Tinder accounts at the door will receive a free drink. On top of that, any confirmed Tinder matches who meet up are eligible for buy-one-get-one shots at the bar. Get to it.
Fuzzy Handcuffs & Boudoir Photography at Hangge-Uppe
14 West Elm Street, Chicago, IL 60610
If you aren’t technologically savvy, or you have just given up on internet-dating all together– then you have found your spot to hang out. Put away your phone and mingle with the person right next to you– seriously, right next to you. You’ll be handcuffed to another patron for 10-minutes. Not only will you hopefully come out of it with a new friend, but you will also get a prize. Oh yeah, and there is boudoir photography– you can leave your clothes on though.
Playboy Key Club at The Lodge Tavern
21 West Division Street, Chicago, IL 60610
This event has more perks than just bunny ears and tails on the servers. Hugh Hefner will be passing out keys as he makes his way throughout the bar, assuring that everyone is having a good time. They will be giving away invitations to their exclusive and private Lodge Anniversary party on March 2nd. This Playboy Key Club can be entered at no charge.
