Connect to the Latin Beats at Circuit
For many people, the thumping beat of dance music goes through them like an electric current, giving them energy to move and groove for hours. So appropriately enough, one of Boystown's premier dance clubs is called Circuit.
At Circuit (just south of Kit Kat Lounge), you can find lesbians, gay men, and even straight couples moving their bodies to the beats of dance mixes and Latin rhythms. Many start the evening quietly sipping cocktails in the front bar lounge named Rehab, where they restore themselves from a trying work week. The night doesn't stay quiet for long though. The club features several theme nights: Thursdays are La Noche Loca ('the crazy night') featuring Miss Ketty's Latina Review followed by all kinds of Latin music, including salsa, merengue, cumbia, and bachata. Sundays also cater to a Latino crowd with Noche Latina and spinning DJs. Fridays and Saturdays vary from week to week with events like GirlBar (every first Saturday of the month), UBU (urban, house, and reggaeton every second Saturday), ChixMix (every third Friday), Urbano (hip-hop every last Friday), and more.
Several renowned DJs have spun their tunes for the big dance floor here, including Hector Fonseca, Billy Steele, Teri Bristol, DJ DeMarko, Peter Rauhofer, Junior Vasquez, and many others. So when you're looking to connect with the crowd and the best beats in Boystown, there's no need to run in circles. Just head straight for Circuit.
