*This list appears to be a constant work in progress, which is actually perfect! We have been contacted a couple times to have places added to this list. It is great to see that people are passionate about these types of restaurants and will take the time to make sure that they are well represented. Leave us comments if any new places open, close or we overlooked them. With everyone’s help– this list will truly become complete.

Great stop with friends for small plates– though they do have entrees as well. With a French wine-bar feel, Avec has a certain charm to it. They have a special Sunday brunch menu, but their everyday menu has a fantastic selection of small and large plates.

This cash only venue serves up Mexican inspired cuisine. If you are a vegetarian, you will find yourself right at home here also. Their menu is focused heavily on tacos– which is not disappointing at all. There drink menu has all of your standard cravings when eating Mexican, as well as fantastic cocktails, beer and liquor.

This British inspired bakery can cure any sweet tooth. On top of that, they also served phenomenal food that you would traditionally find in Britain– never a bad thing for comfort food. They are located right next to a bar also, so you can get your drink on.

    oops, you forgot Sepia at 123 Jefferson st. I believe chef Zimmerman sources most of his ingredients from local farms.
