Chicago Celebrates Halloween, cont.

• A ghoul’s gotta eat. The Dead Diner (a.k.a. the Orbit Room) will be serving up Halloween-themed food and drink specials, along with ghostly tunes, horror flicks, and a midnight costume contest with a cash prize. (Oct 27, 31)

Eat, Drink, and Be Scary at the Museum of Surgical Science. Hosted by the Foundation for Community Betterment, this costume party and fundraiser features festive drinks, hors d’oeuvres, and tours of the unique venue. An after-party and raffle complete the celebration at aliveOne. Proceeds benefit 7-year-old Mallory Langill, diagnosed with Cystic Fibrosis at birth. (Oct 27)

Vision and Excalibur come together for the sixth annual X-ecutioner’s Ball, featuring three costume contests and giving away over $10,000 in cash and prizes throughout the evening. (Oct 27)

• Hosted by the Special Olympics Young Professionals Development Board, Fright Fiesta at Moe’s Cantina includes a 3-hour drink package (beer, premium cocktails, sangria, and margaritas), great appetizers (tostadas, tacos, quesadillas), a costume contest, and a silent auction. Proceeds will benefit children and adults with intellectual disabilities who participate in Special Olympics Chicago. (Oct 27)

• The RedEye Halloween Bash includes appetizers, cocktails, DJs, scary films on jumbo screens, and more. A 5-day/5-night trip for two to Cancun will be awarded to the winner of the costume contest. (Oct 27)

Perez Hilton and Going.com present the Best of the Worst Costume Contest at the Stoli Hotel. Come dressed as your favorite “celebrity nightmare,” and Perez Hilton, the infamous Internet gossip columnist, will decide who has the best costume. (Oct 27)

• Come dressed as an angel or a devil to the Garden of Temptation Halloween Party at La Pomme Rouge for a chance to win $500. Be one of the first 100 guests, and receive free giveaways. (Oct 27)

Rednofive’s Neon Barbie bash boasts a Malibu Barbie Lounge, a midnight costume contest with cash prizes, and free pictures in a life-sized Barbie Doll box by local photographer, Alex Goykman. The evening’s highlight? A neon Barbie fashion show presented by Mario Ink Bodypainting. (Oct 27)

• Wear your sexiest PJs and dance to talented DJs at Pajama Playland at Leg Room for a chance to win $500 in a costume contest. (Oct 28)
