West Town Pup Crawl – They Have Beer For Your Dog Too

That’s right, your dog and you can now go out for drinks together. Every Tuesday, June 16th through October 6th from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m, West Town will welcome two and four-legged friends alike.

Mahoney’s Pub & Grille, The Matchbox, Aberdeen Tap, and G & O Tavern will offer food and drink specials for the humans and plenty of water for the pooches. All of these stops offer phenomenal outdoor areas that will make both you and your dog feel at home.

However, Mahoney’s Pub & Grille will be offering up Bowser Beer for Dogs (non-alcoholic). Being that this is the first stop of the night, your dog should be sober enough by the end to drive you both home.

On top of that– from 6pm to 8pm, 15% of Mahoney’s Pub & Grille bar sales proceeds will benefit the featured rescue group of the week.

The West Town Pup Crawl is really the perfect change-up from the normal walk in the bark park. This is their 5th year of bonding over beers. They took a small hiatus in 2014, but 2015 will be as good as ever.

Jessica Abernathy, of Chicago Canine Concierge, heads the event. While this may be a fun time for both critters and humans, there is a cause behind all of it. There will be a featured rescue group every week that will benefit from proceeds of the Pup Crawl. Examples of these are Chicago Animal Advocates and Bow Wow Revolution.

Also tagging along will be dog-centric vendors– such as Pet Chef Express and Canine Sports Dog Training. They will provide services and have goodies at Mahoney’s Pub & Grille.

*Dogs must remain on a leash.

West Town Pup Crawl Specials:

Mahoney’s Pub & Grill will offer $2 tacos (chicken, steak, or pork) with $5 Margaritas
and $5 Bowser Beer for Dogs.

Aberdeen Tap will offer $1 draft beers and $5 orders of wings.

G & O Tavern will offer $5 house-batched cocktails and $6 burgers.

The Matchbox will offer a Pooch Hooch Punch (for humans!) for $7 and an Old Style tall boy with a bartender’s choice shot for $5.
