Free admission to the DuSable Museum

The DuSable Museum of African American History will have free admission on March 31, 2009.' The musueum that opened in 1961was founded to promote cultural understanding.'

Current exhibits include Distant Echoes:' Black Farmers in America, Tracing the Civil Rights Movement 1848-1968 and Red, White, Blue and Black A History of Black in the Military.

The museum is open 10am-5pm on the 31st and is located at 740 East 56th Place.' If you have ever wanted to visit the museum, this is your opportunity.' Bring the family and enjoy the free admission.' You are guaranteed to learn something new.
