This winter, Ceres’ Table invites guests to take their taste buds on a culinary and enological tour of the Campagna region of Italy during a special wine dinner on Wednesday, February 11. Winemaker Massimo Alois will guide guests through a paired dinner featuring wines from his award-winning Italian wineries, Fattoria Alois and Donna Paolina.

Guests will gather around the restaurant’s communal Vintner’s Table to experience the wines and learn more about the wine-producing region in Italy. Executive Chef Giuseppe Scurato’s menu for the exclusive wine dinner includes:

Housemade Salumi of Lonza Cotta, Porchetta di Testa, Pork Liver Mousse

Pizze, Napoletana Buffalo Mozzarella, Tomato, Basil
Paired with 2012 Fattoria Alois ‘Caulino’ Falanghina

Crudo, Nantucket Bay Scallops with
Blood Orange, Fennel, Parsley, Bottarga di Muggine
Paired with 2012 Fattoria Alois ‘Caiati’ Pallagrello Bianco

Paste, Mafalde alla Napoletana Pork Ragu, Rapini, Pecorino Sardo
Paired with 2009 Fattoria Alois ‘Murella’ Pallagrello Nero

Carne, Whole Roasted Leg of Lamb with Mashed Potatoes,
Carrots, Red Wine Sauce, Rosemary, Black Pepper
Paired with 2009 & 2010 Fattoria Alois ‘Trebulanum’ Casavecchia

Formaggi, Alla Campagna Caciocavallo di Grotta
Paired with 2007 Donna Paolina ‘Taurasi’ Aglianico

Dolce, Torta Della Nonna with Lemon Crème Anglaise, Whipped Cream, Pine Nuts
