Let’s Play Railway

Are you looking for some fun things to do this weekend with your kids' Kohl Children’s Museum presents “Let’s Play Railway.”' It is a giant replica of BRIO’s wooden toy engine.' There are plenty of hands on activities for children and adults.' The exhibit encourages learning through make believe play as the children climb aboard this really cute train.

Within the train, kids will enjoy real levers and buttons they can push in the Engineer’s Cab.' The wagon portion of the train has a pretend pony and cow.' There are also wheel activites that are built in to the wheels on the train.' The museum also offers a fully operational kiddie train Tuesdays through Friday that the kids can actually ride on.

The museum is open Tuesday through Saturday 9:30am-5pm, Sunday 12pm-5pm and Monday 9:30am-12pm.' Admission is free for members and children under 1.' Anyone over the age of 1 without a membership pays $7.50 to enter which is still a great price for the museum.' There is plenty to see there.
