If you have ever wanted to learn how to Close and Open Embrace Tango, here is your chance.  Wow your friends at dinner parties when you put on a Tango and strut your stuff.
Beginner’s Six Weeks Classes beginning Tuesday November 11, 2008 at the Dance Center Chicago, 3868 North Lincoln Ave, Chicago 60613.  There is free parking at Corus Bank on the corner of Damen and Irving Park.

Two to Tango

Tango started in the late 1800s in lower-class districts of Buenos Aires, Argentina. The dance had several fluctuations in popularity, but at one point, the Argentinean government actually hired dancers to tour and market the tango in the United States’ major cities. This sparked interest in many Chicagoans back then, but the social dance has found a remarkable following recently as well.
