Happy Thanksgiving
Today we celebrate Thanksgiving. We all know the store of the early settlers and the Indians. It is the day set aside by President Abraham Lincoln to acknowledge “The gracious gifts of the Most High God”. Later, Congress made the last Thursday in November a National Holiday in 1941.
Thanksgiving is a great time to spend watching the parade here in Chicago and to spend time with family and friends. It is also a time to give to those less fortunate than others. Be appreciative of what you do have. Sometimes it’s easier to get caught up on focusing on what you don’t have. Consider having an ‘Attitude of Gratitude.’ Focus on all of the blessings that you have received.
Happy Thanksgiving!
