Chic Chicago
Now through June 2009, you can enjoy the Chic Chicago Exhibit at the Chicago History Museum. Check out the timeline of Chicago’s history from Industry to a Glamour Mecca. Generations of Chicago women helped change Chicago in Chic and Sophisticate and not necessarily in that order. This exhibit walks your through time date of 1861 to 2004. There are lots of colors and styles that you see along the way that may repeat themselves – can we say ‘mini skirt’.
The exhibit has actual garments that represent the decades and centuries in between. Each garmet has a strong connection to the city of Chicago.
