Chicago Outdoor Film Festival 2008 Line-Up

filmSpring is finally here! It’s time to announce the line-up for the Chicago Outdoor Film Festival held in Butler Field of Grant Park. Every Tuesday night this summer, you can bring your blanket or lawn chair, a picnic basket, and some friends to enjoy a movie… for free! Just remember that this is a popular event, so you’ll want to arrive about an hour early if you want to stake out a prime viewing location. Oh, and of course, no alcohol is allowed.

This year, the festival will feature seven classic American films spanning 30 years.

  • All About Eve (1950) – July 15, 8:57 p.m.
  • The Odd Couple (1968) – July 22, 8:51 p.m.
  • The Blues Brothers (1980) – July 29, 8:44 p.m.
  • The Day the Earth Stood Still (1951) – Aug 5, 8:35 p.m.
  • Touch of Evil (1958) – Aug 12, 8:25 p.m.
  • An Affair to Remember (1957) – Aug 19, 8:15 p.m.
  • Grease (1978) – Aug 26, 8:03 p.m.
